Charity Presents Mobility Bike to Disabled Child at Bowling Event

MARIETTA, GA -- Variety of Georgia will present a special mobility bike to a physically challenged child during a bowling event on Saturday, Feb. 12.

The Johns Creek-based charity's mission is to enhance and improve the lives of children who suffer from disabilities, poverty, abuse and neglect, according to its Web site.

Saturday's bowling outing will be at Brunswick Zone bowling alley (2750 Austell Road, Marietta, 30008). Forty lanes with five bowlers each have already been sold, which equals approximately 200 participants bowling for charity.

Registration begins at 1:00 p.m., with the mobility bike presentation occuring at 1:30 p.m. in the bowling alley's lobby. The tournament, which includes a raffle and silent auction, will end around 5:00 p.m.

Variety of Georgia's mobility program will benefit from 100% of the proceeds raised.
