The 5th Annual Fine  Art + Fashion presentation hosted by Neiman Marcus was a beautifully major success!  The NBAF were delighted and honored to have Sandra Anderson Baccus chair Fine Art + Fashion this year, as well as honorary chairs Su and Al Longman, co-chairs Marjorie and Steve Harvey, Earnest Ingram and Charlene Crusoe Ingram, John and Vicki Palmer, and Bill Torres and Jack Sawyer. The fashion presentation was absolutely amazing and CD Greene's designs were simply stunning.

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- Lisa McMann, author of the bestselling Wake trilogy (Wake, Fade and Gone), has written a new young adult novel, Cryer's Cross.

She will give a talk and sign copies of her books at Barnes & Noble at Mansell Crossings (7660 Northpoint Parkway, Alpharetta, 30022) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 22.

Cryer's Cross is about a young woman named Kendall, who loves her life in a small Montana town but still longs for something more.

However, when Cryer's Cross is shaken by a horrifying tragedy, Kendall tosses her dreams aside to join the search for her missing friends. In the process, she uncovers some frightening local history and discovers just how far the townspeople will go to keep their secrets buried.

Registration open for 2011 Georgia Games

KENNESAW, Ga. -- Amateur athletes of every age, ability and passion can compete for medals again this year at the 2011 Georgia Games.

This year's edition of the state's largest multi-sport event will take place on various weekends throughout the summer.

Online registration is currently open for all 48 sports, listed below.

More than 8,000 athletes from 500 Georgia cities and town competed in the 2010 Games. The event is staffed by over 1,000 volunteers, who can also register online to help.

The Georgia Games is a festival for state citizens of all ages and athletic abilities, including physically disabled and Paralympic athletes.

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting open to all members of the community.

The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

A model, spokesperson, writer, humanitarian, business woman and now Fashion & Beauty Director of the 19th Hole magazine is where she's making her mark in the golf, fashion and lifestyle world.

As the Fashion & Beauty Director of THE 19TH HOLE MAGAZINE, Renee has plans to take the magazine global and she is well on her way. She designed the first global model search for five (5) winners to grace the next issue of the magazine.  After sifting through countless submissions, winners were announced on THE 19TH HOLE MAGAZINE’s Facebook Fan Page on February 28, 2011. The contest sought to find captivating women who were glowing examples of confidence, radiance and strength.
