Man used Chinese food delivery ruse in home invasion | News
JOHNS CREEK -- Johns Creek Police are searching for two men who pushed their way into a home after pretending to deliver Chinese food. The woman fought back and gave police an important clue to track down the suspects.
Johns Creek Police spokesperson Lt. Chris Byers told 11Alive News that investigators believe the house was targeted.
He had a handgun and hit her in the head with it, but she she fought back. She hit and scratched him repeatedly. Eventually, she fought him off. He ran back through the front door. Security video shows he took off with another suspect.
The first man is described as a black man in his mid-30's, 5'7", and 250 pounds. The second suspect is described as also in his mid-30's with a thin build, wearing a black skull bandanna.
Johns Creek police say the woman's determination gave them an important clue. She scratched the suspect so hard, they were able to retrieve DNA from beneath her fingernails.
