ATLANTA -- A number of Georgia elementary, middle and high schools were recognized for their Library Media Programs.

State School Superintendent Dr. John Barge announced the 2011 winners at the Exemplary and Exceptional levels on Tuesday.

The winners were selected based on their schools' written applications, narratives from their principals, and possible telephone interviews or on-site visits.
