Johns Creek Resident Wins Dream Dog Park Contest

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Pat McNeely and his best pal Koda, a six-year-old Siberian Husky, have a big reason to celebrate. The duo recently won the Beneful WagWorld Dream Dog Park Contest.

McNeely's idea to create the ultimate dog park served as inspiration for the $500,000 makeover of Newtown Dog Park in Johns Creek. McNeely was one of 10 finalists in the online contest that invited dog owners across the country to answer the question: "If you had $500,000 to create the ultimate dream dog park for you and your best buddy, what would you do?"

The Beneful WagWorld Dream Team, led by television host, design expert and dog lover Jason Cameron, along with dog expert and bestselling author Arden Moore, crowned McNeely and Koda the Grand Prize Winners of the contest at a hometown celebration event.
